Major awards nominations for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl has been nominated for several major awards in the 2025 season, including Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards®, and in three categories at the BAFTA Film Awards for Animated Film, Children’s and Family Film and Outstanding British Film.

The film is also up for Best Animated Feature at the Critics Choice Awards, Outstanding Character and Outstanding Environment in an Animated Feature at the Visual Effect Society Awards, and has received seven nominations at the Annie Awards, including Best Feature, Best Direction and Best Character Animation.

Previous nominations include Best Animated Motion Picture at the Golden Globes, Best Score in an Animated Film at the Music in Media Awards, Best Animated Feature at the Hollywood Creative Alliance Astra Awards, and Best Animated Film nods from the Chicago Film Critics Association, Las Vegas Film Critics Society, New York Film Critics Online, San Diego Film Critics Society, Seattle Film Critics Society, St Louis Film Critics Association and the Washington DC Area Film Critics Association.

Directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl premiered on the BBC on Christmas Day in the UK, and on Netflix globally on January 3^rd. Last week, the BBC announced the film as the most-watched animation on British TV since records began, with 21.6 million views in 28 days.
