Following on from the global success of Hide & Sheep, Shaun the Sheep’s first augmented reality trail experience, comes Fun with the Flock - a brand-new digital, family entertainment package available now to license worldwide.

Available on iOS and Android, this AR trail experience now includes AR interactions with the whole Flock as users help Bitzer carry out a series of tasks to complete his check list. Bespoke marketing and messaging opportunities are included within the app, allowing partner venues to host their very own Shaun the Sheep-themed trail and encourage visitors to share their day out with friends and family.

Each partner venue receives their own unique download code, allowing access to personalised usage and download data which aims to track visitor engagement with the trail. Once downloaded, the app can run without access to a data connection, making it the perfect digital accompaniment for any rural attraction setting. The trail is completely self-led, so once marketing and on site assets are installed, there is minimal staff input required to run the experience. Seasonal overlays are also available to encourage repeat visits and offer an additional marketing hook across a license term.

Visitors will follow a series of printed markers, allowing venues to manage footfall, flow and encourage visitors to access all areas of a site as they complete the trail and have Fun with the Flock along the way. The app is designed to enhance visitor experience, rather than families needing to be constantly looking at their phones as they explore the beautiful locations.
